Walter R. Roth
Founder, Managing Director
Walter is a serial entrepreneur with experience raising venture capital, building initial sales pipelines, selling enterprise software and starting companies. At the age of 23 Walter was a venture backed CEO with 35 employees and since then has spent significant time exposed to the inner workings of a venture capital fund as well as the world's largest and most successful enterprise software company, Oracle Corporation.
Most recently Walter spent a year and a half focusing on one of the startups he initially was advising, Acquis, Inc. As its Vice President of Business Development, Walter was instrumental in the restarting of the company and bootstrapping it to its first million in sales. His role consisted of developing a fresh pipeline, marketing materials and establishing relationships with partners like Oracle Direct and Johnston-McLamb to drive sales to major customers like the U.S. Postal Service and the State of Florida.
Walter's role at Channel Capital includes helping start ups (see: Client Portfolio) build momentum that drives them further within the Venture Capital Channel. For domain experts and/or experienced executives raising venture capital for the first time, Walter's unique experience and skill set covers areas of experience they typically do not have before going through a financing and the early stages of building a new company.
Walter spent a year traveling around the world in 2003 learning about new markets and networking with international businesses, investors, local government officials and entrepreneurs. Channel Capital, LLC was design in part by the lessons Walter learned along the way, and a global perspective is applied throughout.
Walter's current focus is building out the Channel Network and helping Channel Capital's client portfolio companies and corporate partners generate revenue and strategic value from leveraging their inherent (and often times unlimited) Channel Capital.

Steve Browne - Sales Management
Steve is a seasoned technology executive with twenty-five years of software development, consulting, pre-sales technical support, direct sales, channel sales, telesales, federal sales and sales management. Channel Capital has adopted his career making methodology for creating the traction startups need to generate their first million in sales. Most recently, Steve was Chief Operating Officer at Acquis, Inc. As C.O.O., Steve bootstrapped Acquis from zero to breakeven, getting them their first $1M in sales. Prior to that, Steve created the initial revenue streams for multiple startups, a $30M annual revenue stream for a global corporation from scratch and also closed many multip-million dollar deals in the Federal and Telecommunications markets. Companies he has worked at include: General Interface (Tipco), Collation (IBM), Geodesic (Veritas), IBM's Tivoli division, Patrol (BMC) and Oracle.
